What is the integration period like for a new child?
The integration period is a key step in ensuring a smooth transition from home to daycare. At Jardin William, we believe that a gradual, individualized adaptation fosters the child's sense of security and reinforces parent-educator trust.
Integration takes place over several days, gradually increasing the child's time at the daycare. For the first few days, the parent is invited to stay and accompany the child, then gradually withdraw. This approach enables the child to develop a bond of attachment with his or her caregiver, while adapting to the new environment at his or her own pace.
Every child reacts differently, so we remain attentive to the needs of the child and family throughout the process. Our aim is to make every child feel welcome, understood and confident, so that they can build a solid foundation right from the start.
